2NE1 Disbands + Taehyun Leaving Winner & YG
It's a sad day for us kpop fans. Sad day for Inner Circles & Blackjacks. Everything just happened so suddenly. First, I found out about Taehyun Leaving Winner & YG. *Sigh' This is from the article: It was revealed On November 25th, YG Entertainment announced that Nam Tae Hyun will be leaving WINNER and YG. A source from YG said, “After lengthy discussions with Nam Tae Hyun it was judged that it would be difficult for him to continue activities through WINNER. His exclusive contract got cancelled on November 18.” The source continued, “The remaining members made his health and recovery the priority and hoped for improvement, but it’s difficult to say when he will recover and return because it’s a psychological issue he has dealt with since he was young.” The agency source concluded, “Although Nam Tae Hyun cannot be with WINNER now, we hope that they will be colleagues who support each other’s future individual music activities. WINNER will not gain a new member and will remain as a 4-member group. We ask for a lot of support four members of WINNER who will make a new start and for Nam Tae Hyun.”
I'm so hurt about this because Taehyun won't be in Winner anymore. Winner won't be the same without him. Without Taehyun, Winner is incomplete. I'll still support Winner and Taehyun. Another thing is that I feel so bad for Taehyun because he is suffering from a mental illness since his childhood. Poor baby ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I hope he gets well and get plenty of rest. Same goes for Winner, I hope they are taking good care of their self. My heart seriously hurts smh.
Then, I found out about 2ne1 disbanding. Now, I know I wasn't the biggest 2NE1 fan and I wasn't there from the start but I liked them. I wanted to see more of 2ne1 to get to know them better and everything! It really sucks that they just disband like that. I feel even more bad for the fans who has been there since day 1 and for the ones that said 2ne1 got them into kpop. It must be really tough for you guys. But we can't say we didn't see this coming right? Once Minzy left, it was a wrap! It wasn't going to be the same without the great Minzy! Some people thought if 2ne1 was going to have a comeback, it will be a flop. But hey I guess you don't have to worry about it being a flop or not, they just disband smh.
This is from the article: Though the group is no more, CL and Sandara Park have signed solo contracts with YG. Park Bom has not re-signed with the agency. Here is the official statement from YG: “2NE1’s exclusive contract expired in May 2016, and with Minzy leaving 2NE1, we have come to the decision to officially disband after extensive discussion with the remaining members. “As 2NE1 was YG’s official girl group for seven years, we cannot begin to express how we feel, but we determined that it was too difficult to continue. Rather than waiting an unknown amount of time for 2NE1’s next promotions, we have decided to focus on the members’ solo activities. “We sincerely thank all the fans both in Korea and abroad that have loved the group and their music for all this time. “We would like to officially announce that after last May, we resigned with CL and Sandara Park. However, unfortunately, there is no new contract with Park Bom.”
Okay so what will happen to Bom??!! I wonder what will she do now and where she's going to go? Many people are saying that CL debuting in the US ruined everything because all YG cared about was CL and Dara too I think. Do you guys think that too?? But sadly, we all have to move on. That's just life. And man YG is getting so much hate, you would think they are about to become the next SM. But if you think about it, people shouldn't hate YG. It's only right to let Taehyun go because he is in no position to continue with Winner because of his health. He needs to rest and all right? I don't want him to leave but I'm concerned about his health. And 2nel, they probably just wanted to go their separate ways anyway since it wasn't working out. So what's done, is done. We are going to miss 2ne1 and Taehyun ㅠ
