SM Plans To Take Legal Action Against Individuals Harming Their Artists!

When will people stop harassing kpop idols?! They are human just like everyone else. They deserve to have their own privacy and they deserve to be happy. Obviously some people are not getting the clue so you have to put your foot down and that's what SM is doing. On October 7, SM Entertainment posted a statement about invasion of privacy and criminal acts affecting their artists. The agency stated, “Recently there have been repeated offenses of our artists’ personal information being leaked and stolen as well as other acts causing serious damage. On and offline acts of spreading rumors, circulating false information, leaking and stealing personal information, invasion of privacy against our agency’s artists, artists’ families, and artists’ acquaintances are expanding, thus material and psychological harm inflicted from these acts is at a serious level.” SM continued, “We have decided that we can no longer tolerate and remain a spectator regarding these acts and will take strong legal action against invasions of privacy and other illegal acts in order to protect our agency’s artists.”
To be a little more specific relating to this issue, most of you knew about G-Dragon's Instagram account being hacked and personal pictures were leaked out. Those ridiculous rumors about him secretly dating? I mean even if he was dating someone, so what? He can date if he wants to. He is a grown man, it's his life. People need to stay out of his business. These sasaengs are terrible and out of control. They need to catch their life! But yeah you guys know it's more stories behind this. Most people think "wow it's about time SM said something". Also to most people, clearly it's been known that most agencies handle issues with their artists poorly. But anyway I'm glad SM is doing their part on protecting the artists.
