On September 15, YG Entertainment released news regarding BLACKPINK’s comeback. A source from YG Entertainment stated, “BLACKPINK has already filmed the music video for a new, unreleased song, and will be filming another music video for a new track during the Chuseok holiday period. There are plans to release both music videos during October. For their comeback, there will be a minimum of two new tracks, or there could be more.”
